Why would he want to fight Ward again. He got beat fair and square the first time in Atlantic city. They would fight again in Oakland or there, so the money would be small. He would lose so much more than he would win. Now he is the big star and Ward got a unique chance of doing something that would inspire fans all over the world, go chase that P4P status and fight Carl in a massive fight somewhere in England and earn ****loads of cash. Everything is for Ward traveling and against Froch traveling from a business point of view for both men.

He's right there's no real need for a rematch it would be a money grab.

Yea, but you got to wonder if it's possible. Mayweather, Pac and Canelo all of one more PPV upcoming.

It'd be interesting if he does put on an event the same day as Mayweather's.... dunno about that, but with the state of things, it'd be a big middle finger to TMT's first PPV by themselves

Each of those fights are winnable for Froch while beating Ward is a long shot.

Froch's exit strategy is probably Chavez Jr then Kessler III. He'll make huge money and should win both fights.
I like the sound of this. You could even put Froch Kessler III up on a stage at knebworth similar to a music festival, set it out like donnaire-rigondeoux fight but on a colossal scale. sell 150,000 tickets at least. Would be a logistics nightmare though.

ward on peds and froch ill with zero inside sparring only lost 115-113 on the two American score cards.

Froch was going to Ko him in a 15 round fight.

But hes right, no point as even the yanks cant be arsed with Ward so its pretty pointless.

                He is right.

I know that Sauerland offered Ward Kessler in Denmark. That fight was just turned and team Ward said they'd make a counter offer for a fight in the US. They didn't so it ended right there.

Froch should only fight Ward if he feels it is worthwhile as a legacy enhancer because moneywise it's a no-go.

Wow there's a lot of Froch talk. The funny part about it is Froch created Groves. Groves almost beat Froch (then gets stopped) and gets his name all over hbo. Then Froch knocks out his create-a-character and he's ready for Ward.

His legacy will never be solidified as much as beating the guy that beat him, if thats not worthwhile then hes not the beast people make him out to be.
As much as people hype him up you have to place Ward above him , styles make fights.

You mean to tell me top fighters are not only interested about legacy, but also money as well?

                      Shocking stuff.

I'd rather see Froch-Jr. in Vegas anyway.
