    3. Chavez Jr ducked Cotto at 154 because he was not ready for prime time yet, and Top Rank knew this so the put on these corney PPVs for Chaves Jr against no ones. Fact

    4. You can't name a better boxer/puncher that Martinez has faced. fact.

    5. You love Antonio Margachito. Fact. If you think he was coming back in that fight you have fallin off the rocker. Fight 1 Cotto was outclassing him until the plaster harden and fight 2 Margachito was not in the same class. FACT! Margarito lost 3 out of 4 after his brick hands got caught and his 1 win went the distance against a nobody. FACT

    6. Kelly Pavlik had just come back from a sever staph infection that almost killed him before he faced Sergio, and he was battling addiction. So please get your stuff straight. Fact

    7. I Never said Cotto is the strongest guy Martinez has faced, I said he is the only guy he has faced with the combination of Speed, Power, and Ring intelligence.

    Take a Nyquil I just
    1) u pray to a cotto shrine each night...fact

    2) It's not a bus that cotto has to bring in his balls everyday it's ur mouth..fact

    3) ur version of events are totally & completely skewed...fact

    4) if u use the words fast w/ cotto & say Paul was never fast ur delusional..fact

    5) The fact that u use the word "fact" to make opinion based points ensures that ur wrong on each & every one....Fact.

    6) Kelly Pavlik's life was never in danger foh! He was tryna make fights & they kept getting canned...get YOUR facts straight ****.... fact

    7) lol...The only person jr ever ducked was Martinez & he eventually manned up & got beat up. No one has ever blinked about facing cotto above 47.

    8) Cotto was outclassing him until plaster hardened" ...You must've worn a helmet to school growing up. Everyone looks like their out classing Tony until he breaks them. Paul williams threw 1000+ punches at him & still almost got caught up to. Cotto is not built for high intensity high output battles unless his opponent is smaller than he....FACT!! & had had they not saved him in the 2nd fight we may have seen a repeat fold at the end. The fighttook on a earily similar profile. except that cotto didn't lay on the ropes & that he went against his nature to tie an opponent up.. FACT. It was the only way he could survive. Margarito hit miguel significantly less in part 2 & Cotto's face still looked like ****. FACT

Bottom line is that just like Tito vs bernard....PR is going to get embarrassed in front of a bunch of drunk & loud PR's on the eve of their Day in NYC. & I'm gonna see it LIVE.

Now that I've finished raping ur azzhole....clean urself up kid & pull urself together.

Title should say 159, not 160.

Actually it will be easy to give the much smaller Cotto, making his 160 lb. debut, credit if he were to win. Especially if he can accomplish what much larger but way overrated mexican Chavez Jr. couldn't against that same late bloomer with blown out knees, torn shoulder, blah, blah, blah....

The best wins on his record are a shop worn Kelly Pavlik, the overrated Paul Williams, and the pothead Chavez Jr.

I'm not even saying he's not a great fighter, he obviously is 100x more talented than you or I, but he's simply not been in with many classy operators. Cotto has been around the block, shaken hands with so many HOFers in his ring career, and Martinez won't bring much to the party that he hasn't sipped on before.

Martinez may be too big and may have recovered fully from his operations. It's certainly not a given though and writing off Cotto is a bad, bad idea.
That Margarito loss comes up a lot. But the fact is, Martinez had barely two years professional fighting experience when he fought Marg. Prime Cotto got stopped by the same guy eight years later.

I don't think there's any debating Miguel has fought the better comp. But as Sergio pointed out in "Face Off," every time Cotto stepped up, he lost. (He obviously didn't give credit for the Mosley win.)

Anyway, why are we even talking about resumes under the current limit? Let's compare the fighters in question at 160 (or, ok, 159). Miguel was a very good fighter at 140 and 147, but he wasn't all that at 154. Now he's supposed to beat the 160 lb champ? I suppose it's possible, since "Maravilla" is almost 40, inactive and coming off two knee surgeries, but at least Martinez has beaten full-fledged middleweights. When did Miguel ever do that?

Well said. The mosely fight IMO is his biggest vickie bc he fought guys back to back to back. When floyd kept talking retirement. SOme people say shane pulled that fight out at the end. But I though miguel won. Other than that...I don't see where he's been stellar at 47. I thought the clottey fight was a gift. MAybe not a gift but he could've easily been on the other side of the W/L line that night. Clottey took him thru hell. I also think people forget that his bout w/ judah was very competative & dirty. Cotto had real shaky moments. But beating Judah never rates high to me bc he's so undisciplined & always a let down. I expect Cotto to foul martinez once he begins to feel uncomfortable ala clottey & judah. But I agree roach has miguel feeling ambitious...But he's out of his depth in this fight at this weight. I also think a fight w/ Canelo is too much. Especially if he gets beaten up in this battle. That would be his cash out fight. & that's assuming the people even want to see it. I do think Sat will be competative for a time & have some high drama moments. But I don't expect Miguel to prevail.

I consider the Mosley bout a nice win, despite his age (36) and the fact that Shane had already lost back to back to both Winky and Forrest. I don't remember the Clottey fight that well, except for the gash Miguel powered through to notch the victory. I do seem to recall it was rather close, and that Josh took his foot off the gas late.

Despite thinking Martinez wins Saturday, I do believe it's going to be an entertaining bout. Cotto is never in a bad fight, even when he's overmatched. If Sergio wins as expected, I think Miguel finally hangs 'em up. Rightfully so. If Cotto manages to shock, he probably will fight Canelo at 160. That match will be for big bucks and will spell the end of Miguel's career. The big, young, aggressive Alvarez would be just too much. Anyway, like I said, I don't expect Cotto to get there.

He also knocked out paul williams beautiful shot i must admit yet paul did outbox him in the first fight. As for Chavez hes not a boxer hes a guy fighting in his dads shadow making money off people that want to see the ressurection of sr. Next martin murray a brawler can take a punch and give one no boxing skills at all. This is Martinez first time fighting a legitamate hall of famer . He thinks he will knock out Cotto cause Cotto is the smaller guy. Pavlik ,williams, and most fighters Martinez fought were bigger than he was ,as for cotto he hasnt been the bigger man in years in the ring but the opposition hes fought is the best in the game. So dont be surprised if martinez is confused and ends up crying after he loses
You know that he fought Williams on like two weeks' notice the first time and he moved up to 160? I can't fault you for your point of view but I don't think Sergio will be the one crying after this fight is over.
