      it surprises me as well.

oscar is a boxing hero and ATG human being. i don't care what anyone says about the man and his past. he's a true savior of this sport.

we should all support him and boycott anyone who doesn't.

IMO, I believe Schaefer re-signed today as a pre-emptive move against litigation that was coming from Oscar De La Hoya
Well that's totally different from saying that he embezzled GBP funds, which is what you said before. Anyway, people from company to company all the time within an industry. A lawsuit would be a little more intricate than just "he destroyed my company." I doubt Schaefer is innocent, I'm just curious as to what they'd actually charge him with, if they do charge him.

oscar's had enough with the ppv flops.

Looks like he finally realized the true drawing power of floyd's events do in fact come from the mexican holidays and stacked undercards.

i imagine oscar gave floyd 3 chances to legitimaetly prove he was a million ppv draw, and floyd really only managed half of that amount.

On the other hand though, floyd can now also use oscar as an excuse to duck manny. in a way, im happy for oscar as he'll no longer be losing money on floyds ppvs - but i cant pretend that this increases the likelihood of floyd ever fighting manny, matter of fact, it only decreases it.

I'm really happy for Oscar De La Hoya for trying to do what he feels is best, for sticking to what he believes in, for trying to make the sport better of boxing better, for trying to give us fans the best possible fights, and for taking care of the fighters. I always pull for Oscar and wish him the highest success and all the best.
I bet manny leaves toprank next year and signs with Floyd.

This isn't an employee leaving a company to find another job. This is a shareholder/CEO possibly sabotaging one to start another. I'd be absolutely shocked if GBP doesn't go down without a fight if that were to happen (which it probably will).

Well you've now mentioned a different scenario. From embezzlement to this. It's possible but you'd have to prove that the brain behind GBP, who built it from nothing to the largest promotional company in the boxing world, also sabotaged it (how exactly?). I don't know the details, it's possible. Just saying that no one else does either.
