I don't really need that TBH. I just don't want any Mares/Donaire type of situations anymore.

Exactly! Who cares what Mayweather does at this point? It's not like he's the future of boxing. Even the fighters in his stable aren't of the highest caliber. Schaefer's a snake, one can look at him and see that he's no good. Oscar has a pretty strong company that he can continue to grow, if he stays clean and sober. Let Mayweather and Schaefer hold hands as they make declarations of who they won't work with. B1tches.

If he say he will not work with Golden Boy then Golden Boy has a problem but he can't because some of his fighters are promoted by Golden Boy... Oscar problem is that he dont know the business of boxing. Richard did all the business work while he ran around and smiled... Richard cant just come out and say im going to work with Mayweather promotions for legal reasons. We all know that Al and Richard will come together and form there own promo company or Richard will just join him at Mayweather. They are all rich so they will be fine.

Ur ******. Al haymond just advisor with no Las Vegas boxing license n last I checked (not sure) mayweather promotions can't do business in Vegas also. Haymond being more of agent needs a promoter to do business with to actually get his fighters in sanctioned fights in Vegas

Who's gonna be doing all the promotional work Golden Boy's done for Floyd since 2007?

Maybe Floyd, Al Haymon, Schaefer got something cooking, but then again why would Schaefer compete against a company he still holds stock in? Just doesn't make sense.

Has Mayweather Promotions finally gotten their promoter's license?

Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. insisted that his next fight (probably Froch) should be on Sep 13, same date as Mayweather heis set on his horse that thats what he wants, and if Carl Froch that would really hurt Floyd's PPV #s, especially if it is vs a non hispanic (mexican) fighter.

GBP will be fine. Floyd is the only major marquee name on TMT, and he has only a few fights left. I see a lot of good fights being made now.

Not surprised; but it will be a very interesting year.

                  Thoughts:
                  1. Mayweather Promotions - Non-lisenced promoter in the State of Nevada
                  2. Theory: Richard Schaefer joins non-existent Mayweather Promotions (Perhaps, but would need to sell shares (Stake) of GBP- He would probably run into some type of legal problems if there was some type of non-competing clause in his contract with the former employer (i.e., GBP) clauses typically state a one year non-competing clause. So maybe, after a year, Richard may either create a promotion co. and share stake with other vested promotion companies (i.e., Mayweather Promotions); or he simply joins Mayweather Promotions and dissolves shares (not in that order).
                  3. Oscar has some work to do - it's in his best interest to hire a competent business minded individual to replace Richard that has weight in the industry and is savvy enough to retain/attract talent in the company (not just fighters). Oscar, unfortunately, although recovering, is viewed by the majority as a volitale person - a person that can't make an informed decision.
                  4. Who are the clients being represented? Oscar not knowing who is in his stable is NOT GOOD for business. He should have that info on TAP. It's still up in the air as to who GBP has signed.
                  5. Haymon cannot be affiliated/represent a promotional company because it is an illegal act under the Muhammad Ali Act - this is a moot point because he will continue to operate as an advisor to the fighters "nothing more".
                  6. Is this good for the sport? Will there be a stand off between Top Rank/Golden Boy vs Mayweather Promotions? Maybe, but it's going to be an interesting year.

I thought that Floyd was ducking Pac already according to some of you Pac fans? Why would leaving GBPs be proof that Floyd is ducking Pac lmao.

I knew that you guys never believed that Floyd ducked Pac deep down, but if you think that you have some sort of stamp of approval because Floyd is no longer using GBPs......as B.I.G said, "You're Dead Wrong", lmmfao.
