Yes, Cotto is disrespecting the game. But Martinez got a Christmas present with this fight. Cotto has been the B side to two fights, was the underdog and lost both. Martinez is the favorite. This is not just about this fight. Once Martinez KOs Cotto, he will suck away a share of his popularity. To fight with a PPV draw in a fight where you are the clear favorite - that's worth a lot. So Martinez should stop whining and concentrate on sending Cotto back to 154.

Other than Mayweathers courage, what else could stop that fight from being made?

I think it's disgusting the way Sergio has been treated. It has tarnished the middleweight championship in my eyes, the championship itself has been disrespected when the champion is treated like that.

Also Cotto has confused his position with the 'A side' of pacquiao and mayweather. Those guys didn't go and challenge a great champion and approach the fight like they were the title holder.

When pacquiao fought Halton, the lineal light-welter champ, he made none of these petty demands that chipped away at the credit of the title. It was Hutton through his choice that wanted manny introduced second, etc.

Good come back!!! That guy sounds like a little kid. He doesn't know s*** about boxing either to use that Cheating bastard as an example. Smh. He's need to grow up and face the facts. Cotto is the most skilled fighter Martinez has ever fought. NOBODY walks through Cotto.

lol dibella got the boricuas all fired up and hot under the collar, I like miguel but he's going to seriously need all the energy ya'll can send his way. He may be the A-Side today doubt he'll be the a-side after this weekend tho. People tend to forget that Martinez has fight changing power although he hasn't gotten much of a chance to use that lately. Best of luck to both men.

Martinez should really be upset with his promoter, Dibella... You know the guy who's responsible, who gets paid to promote Martinez and his career???? Dibella is the guy that hasn't gotten him leverage, he's the guy he should be upset with not anyone else....moron. And he has obviously let it affect him unlike DeBella says in his interview. Sergio talks about it in every opportunity.
