After chavez he should retire. This is a big statement but carl froch's resume is better than calzaghes. Calzaghes best wins were against lacy, hopkins and kessler. Calzaghe defended his wbo title against alot of bums. Froch has fought top class fighter after top class fighter.

He may not be an ATG, but he certainly has no fear... taking on anybody... and winning all but 2. That's tough to beat. I agree with others here, do Vegas, fighting Jr... then call it a day.

I also think Degale can outbox him in a split decision if they ever fight. But I would be happy if Froch fights Chavez in Vegas and then call it a day.
I do totally agree with you about his chin. If he doesn't work on his defense, he would make a big mistake to face a puncher like Golovkin for instance.

Degeale outboxing Froch is ...how can I say... possible but not probable.

I was for Groves but I must respect Froch for his fighting spirit. I just wish he becomes a little bit more humble and works on his defense. He could definitely be a great champion!

Avenge your loss against Ward, Froch. They can hold it in Vegas and it gives you a chance to to get that win back before you bow out.

Stop it with Degale...pointless fight...Froch KOs an overhyped Degale and it does nothing for his legacy...

Froch vs. Chavez Jr. in Vegas or he should fight Triple G or Ward in the U.K., the two three fights..I'd look at..

I think Jermain Taylor knocked him down with a jab/short right hook. I am not sure, I forgot, I haven't seen that fight in a while but I remember it being a punch that it didn't even look like Taylor put much into it, it just looked like Froch helped Taylor's power by running into the punch. He was knocked down twice in that fight. Also Dirrell had him shook several times and Ward who is not that big a puncher a all was backing him up. His chin is obviously very good, but I think it's something about the way he recovers that makes him better,I don't think it's just his chin.

True, I kind of don't want Froch to fight Degale, even though id like to see how Degale would do against Froch, and see if Froch would be as easy as Degale suggests.

But its a case of Froch risked his reputation by giving Groves who had achieved nothing and fought nobody a chance to beat him. So to, again give Degale the chance to make his name with a win over Froch is maybe a bit too much to accept.

Degales should establish himself a bit more, I know its a cliché to say that, but its true. Degale should beat Groves first, Bute, Kessler or just someone to make it worths Frochs scalp.
