Nah. That's what cruiserweight was created for. So people could watch "old style" smaller HWs. But there is very little money in that division currently so those guys target HW.
The divisions aren't the problem. The public's obsession with the word "heavyweight" is. Most ignore cruiser even though it has some awesome fights.
A 230 cutoff wouldn't even get rid of Wladimir. He is a natural 240 and 10 lbs at that weight is an easy cut. You would be creating a division for Tyson Fury and Sam Peter and a couple other people.
