not only will golovkin easily outjab froch, he'll land the right hand over froch's slow hands and lazy jab from the first round.

Golovkin is a special champion, Froch is not. The size advantage isn't enough.

i can't believe how hyped up ggg is. it's incredible.

i hope this fight happens so froch can KO ggg and show the world his true greatness.

That is not a game plan that would work with GGG.

GGG is not a one dimensional fighter like people seem to think. He isn't as easy to hit as people think he is, and he is much smarter than people think he is. GGG is so dangerous because he is so deceptive.

Froch is a good name building fight for GGG, I'd love to see that. Its not a difficult fight for GGG though.
Froch has won fights on his jab before; Abraham and Kessler II (first half) most recently.

Groves' speed is why he was landing so often, he is very, very fast at 168. GGG isn;t nearly as fast as Groves. GGG does hit big, but smaller guys like Stevens and Rosado took huge amounts of his power punches for many rounds; Froch is much bigger and better opponent with a much better chin.

          I'd take Froch.

He's faster, taller, longer reach. But he doesn't utilize his reach as well as GGG.

the fighter is universally heralded by pundits. most knowledgable fans see golovkin and think he's a special fighter. i don't think he's going to be a hall of famer because of his late start, but he's going to be a hell of a fighter before he retires. he's the best middleweight on the planet right now. he'd KILL martinez. it would be damaging to martinez longterm health. you could probably get lou dibella drunk enough that even he would admit it. he's all but said it in interviews.

he's clearly a hell of a talent, and a highly skilled boxer. he has serious power. you're an idiot if you don't think he can punch. what truly makes him a threat is the administration of his power. he has great timing. he's a technician. he has a great jab. his balance is terrific. ask any pundit or trainer, and they will tell you these things. they've been saying all of this since golovkin turned pro.

if you can jab a guy to the ropes, have a technical offense when he gets there, a good enough chin to take anything that hits you, and enough power to knock a guy out, you're an almost impossible task.

the MW or even SMW that beats golovkin isn't going to back him up. he's going to use his movement, and pick spots to do enough to win rounds. froch doesn't have the legs for that.

he'd end up in a gunfight, and then he'd end up on his back.

he's an inch taller, and has two inches or so in additional reach.

golovkin has a far superior jab to both fighters. it's one of the hardest and most effective jabs in the sport.

i'd shade groves in speed of hand and foot, but his timing on both offense and defense is not on golovkin's level. he's also got a hard time determining when he's in range / danger, and golovkin has clearly mastered that in the gym and amateurs.

Nothing to do with it, Groves is fast. That's it.

GGG has the probable natural power advantage...better boxing skills, generally better schooled, but Froch has the more tested chin, the more awkward and relentless style, and is the bigger man.

Toss up fight - If GGG is the truth and carries his power, he wins. If Froch manages to drag GGG into deep waters, and uses his jab well...he can win a decision. Froch is slight favourite I guess because he's the proven guy, and bigger guy.
