What is the hype over George Groves? who has he beaten?

No he wasn't. On what merits was a he a "world class fighter"?


I respect you Dan, but sometimes you say some wack stuff here. You consider Groves a "world class fighter" yet you shit on fighters like Bradley and Stevenson and say they don't impress you?

Well Bradley and Stevenson are clearly world class fighters, I've never disputed that. They don't impress me as P4P talent (Neither does Groves) but they're both obviously world class.

And both have impressed me on occasions.

Groves proved he was a world class fighter in the first Froch fight. He took the #2 SMW and Top 10 P4P fighter to hell and back, put a beating on him before being controversially stopped.

That to me, shows me he's a world class SMW.

The only thing controversial about the first fight is that Froch wasn't given the opportunity for a definitive stoppage.
