I just don't see Carl beating Ward. Ward is much more disciplined and will stick to his game plan no matter how boring it may be for the fans, this means making no mistakes and being certain he has no surprises in the form of a Thor Hammer connecting to his face from Froch. Groves chin and mistake is what let him down, along side Froch's counter right which ended the fight.

Biggest overachiever in boxing. His style is terrible. He gets by with his grit and chin which he should get credit for . But he gets out boxed by any world class boxer. He was lucky against Taylor and dirrel and got beat by ward. Most of his big wins came from shot fighters or overrated fighters. Horrible style.

Ward outboxed Froch he didn't spank him at all Froch came on strong late on and like Froch said Ward is a master of avoiding punches.

If ward came for a toe to toe fight which he never would he'd be seeing the canvas too.

The man's style is terrible to look at, at least for me. His defense can be atrociously bad, always a fraction of a second late to swat that punch that catches him but he hits like a truck and he can take a punch and his ring IQ is high. He doesn't look it when you see those awkward punches, he looks almost clumsy and yet somehow he keeps winning because he's damn clever and a great puncher.

Froch deserves credit but he fought Taylor and Kessler on the downside of there careers. Even then he got beat by Kessler and got lucky with Taylor. He should have lost to dirrel. I don't see him as this great fighter.
