Pirog vs Jacobs was similar. Both guys were clearly unconscious, they woke up, and maybe could have made the count? Would it have been in their best interest? hell no, they were clearly concussed bad enough to fall asleep.
You don't count when a guy is catching zzzz's.
Plus they showed Groves try to get up like 3-4 minute later and he was stumnling and had to sit back down.Comment

If you watch the replay Groves was out cold with his left leg folded back. After a few seconds his leg popped out from under his ass and that's what woke him up. That's the only reason he came to so quickly, he wasn't playing dead as you claim.Did he even "waste" 6 seconds. I don't even think he counted up to 5.
I have no fighter in this fight, I didn't even give a prediction and I made this post already:
I honestly did not care who won and I did not find it controversial, it was Groves fault for playing dead and then rising from the dead with the quickness like The Undertaker. If Groves was fine, which to me it looked he was, he should not have rested for so long. His reaction to the stopagge leads to believe he WAS shook and hurt from the KD but he was fine and ready to continue but was expecting for the ref to count up to 8, which he didn't even get a 5.Comment
