Come on. Ward Froch was not a close fight. The 118-110 scorecard was much more in line with what happened in the ring. I really hate ward's style but he beat the hell out of froch. Froch has never wanted to rematch ward--he can't beat him anywhere. He would need a lot better home cooking to beat ward than he got against dirrell, who also beat him cleanly.

This!! props to Froch for the victory night but he's not beating ward and he knows it, the Dirrell robbery still erks me till this day.

As much as I was rooting for Groves, are people really complaining about the stoppage?

Fair play to Froch, it was a great shot. Groves didn't look as good as the first fight but it was a close fight, didn't score it but I think I would've had it a round or so up for Groves.

He's a HOF easily. Competition is stiffer than anyone in like 20 years. The dude took no breaks. He's extremely underrated in terms of athleticism. I don't get why people think speed =/= athleticism. It encompasses so many areas. Froch is naturally strong, hits hard, has strong legs, and has the most important aspect of athleticism, a gas tank.

Agree. He is an excellent fighter. My 2nd fave British fighter after Amir Khan.
