Groves could be in a fight, get knocked out, ref checks his pulse..he has none...and thousands of clueless fans would say...

Come on ref give him a 10 count to come back from the dead and beat the count...

Come on. Ward Froch was not a close fight. The 118-110 scorecard was much more in line with what happened in the ring. I really hate ward's style but he beat the hell out of froch. Froch has never wanted to rematch ward--he can't beat him anywhere. He would need a lot better home cooking to beat ward than he got against dirrell, who also beat him cleanly.

enough already guys groves sat in his corner for atleast 4 minutes got up and was still stumbling and woozy and his corner forced him to sit down. I understand the first fight complaints but groves got beat this time no more what ifs the only what if is if he didnt get hit with the punch

Groves was folded like a laptop, was stumbling around like Ricky Hatton after a night at the pub, and then needed oxygen LOL...
It was borderline. Groves was clearly getting up in time, but it's rather likely Froch would just put him down again since he was so shaken from a huge punch.

My main question is why the ref would wave it off so quickly in a fight specifically happening to address a horribly early stoppage the first time around. At least let Groves stumble around and fall back down or whatever to make it clear he's done. No need to coutn to 3 then hold him down.

LOL if you think running around landing pitty pat shots is winning, you are the type of boxing fan I despise...

Froch clearly beat Dirrell with aggression and bringing the fight to him and doing more damage...that's what wins a fight to me...being "slick" doesn't mean you win fights..you probably had Mayweather dominating Maidana as well I assume? Marquez schooling Pacquiao? I'd like to see Ward fight under more uncomfortable circumstances where he's not allowed to hit and clinch and all night with a ref who will let Froch rough him up if he does it..or take points away...
