Ok how many points do you want to bet even odds and all Lara has to do it make it to the final bell which I don't think he will.

That's what has me believing in Lara for this fight. I think he knows his future hangs in the balance. He doesn't have the luxury of a massive and forgiving fanbase. He's not nearly as young as Canelo. If Landy fails, he's an overrated Cuban with a blah style, a couple of draws and a couple of loses in less than 25 fights. He's hish.

My 6 Trilly to yours that Lara doesn't make it to hear a score card after 12?

I don't know about overrated but I just don't see the big fuzz with him and the ginger. Should be an entertaining fight non the less

Ps. . . I'm glad Lara is no Rigo or else my Mexican country man would be in deep trouble

I've been hearing some encouraging things about guys returning from TJ. They say it's an 80% success rate. I truly hope Jose falls into that majority. But I'm not worried about it. There's something about that kid. He's just a winner, the kind of person you never count out. It sucks he'll lose at least one year of his (very promising) career, but he's so young it shouldn't hurt him. He wasn't even supposed to be in the big leagues yet.

Although I didn't think Canelo would beat Mayweather, I hoped he would. The kid was poised to be a superstar. The writing was on the wall. Major companies were positioning themselves to use him as the face of boxing. It's been a long time since we truly had that in the United States. It would've been amazing for the sport. But now it's all gone. I don't think it's coming back. Fair or not, once Alvarez lost to Floyd, the image evaporated. Casual fans have to believe you're invincible.
yeah I think the winner should get floyd no matter what or if not get a shot at the titles hes holding, if hes not going to defend the belts that mfcka needs to vacate them and let the younger guys have their day. Yeah the mega fight between canelo and mayweather was huge it was pretty cool we got to witness such a big fight go down but such a shame he got taken to school. I think the big company investment thing will still be a factor as long as he keeps winning, I understand what you mean by its gone, but if he keeps fighting the best and winning then the legend will just add to mayweather and they can sell it as "The only man he has lost to is mayweather" which would be pretty sweet if he never gets another loss for a long time. win or lose for landy I hope he gets bigger fights and doesn't just get written off id like to see him vs other big names just for the good of the sport.

lol Rigo's a tall order. Can't think of too many guys that could beat him P4P. But, as we agree, Lara's no Rigo...and that's what makes this upcoming match so interesting.

Done, best of luck I do think it will be a good fight its one of the better ones so far this year.
I do agree with you about why Lara needs to win so badly. He is dangerous, not a big name, doesn't have an entertaining style, and without a big name on his resume he is toast and won't be able to get money makers to fight him.

He is back to fighting contenders/prospects/decent names off of losses if he loses next month. I just think he isn't versatile enough and Canelo is on the up getting better all of the time.
