ward's actually a pretty good draw in the bay area. very few american fighters could sell tickets like he does.

cotto, mayeather, and a few others are obviously ahead of him, but ward has always done solid numbers in the bay, especially at oracle.

Just be happy Froch is an amazing draw who will make great money. You don;t have to bring up Andre Ward.

If it's cause Froch wants a rematch, then offer Ward a purse he can't refuse with all the money you draw. If you want to make the most money, then fight someone else and quit bringing up the name of a boxer you lost clearly too.

Hearn was asked about Ward and given the fact that Ward had called this domestic fight, Hearn clearly wanted to send a message.

Ward has been *****ing about this fight for a while, seems like envy that these two are making huge money and drawing 80,000 fans.

Eddie Hearn simply telling it like it is, Froch is gaurenteed entertainment and a huge draw. Ward is neither of those things.

Ward just wants too much money for any fight. he's not a TV draw and doesn't have much fan support outside of Oakland. sadly Ward doesn't play into the "angry black man" stereotype and that hurts his money making ability. if you're black in boxing you're either KOing people or pissing everybody off. you can't just be an excellent boxer like Ward.

Ward needs to either take less money or fight more often or both. Ward can sit out and wait for the big money fights but that's the fastest way to becoming irreverent.

Man I've seen Ward in the last two fights trying to be more entretaining I for once did enjoy and appreciated the work he did with Shad Dowson & Rodriguez athough Rodriguez is just a class "C" at best but he has power.
If I see Ward keep on doing what he has being doing lately (and a mean in the ring not on Court) I believed his skills will be appreciated I know I do.

On the contrary Ward has done extremely well at the Oracle Arena by typical standards in the US boxing market. I've been greatly surprised at his ability to draw all factors considered. Especially for how boring he's been at times.

Ward is a great fighter. But unfortunately he's going to have to make some changes in the way he goes about things. I know it's not in his nature to go the mayweather/broner route, but he's got to do something. This inactivity is ridiculous.
