Oh ok so an American fighter got bigger viewing figures at primetime on an American network by 0.1 million over a Brit and a Dane? As you Yanks would say "Well shucks, gosh golly I'll be damned!"

Froch-Kessler II was a PPV fight in the UK and Denmark.

Both from boxingscene.com, google it, I'm not lying. And my main say is not that "who is the bigger draw", but that Ward is not a big draw and he doesn't deserve that Hearn diss him because his style and because the fact that he beat Froch with ease and Hearn doesn't want that again for his cash cow. And no, I'm not a yank, actually I'm from Europe, but it could really piss me off when someone diss the best smw fighter because his style isn't sympathetic for his/her taste and he/she likes better Froch and try to make bul**** excuses why Froch is the greater fighter from the two.
I saw a lot of p4p lists and none of them Froch was above Ward. Let's face the facts, Ward is the best fighter at 168 and he isn't unsellable as Hern trying to suggest...

It's not really a diss. It's just fact. Carl Froch is selling 80,000 tickets and Ward is selling what? 2,000 in his hometown?

Carl Froch is a PPV fighter. Ward is not.

So what did Hearn say that was inaccurate? I don't see anywhere that he said Froch is a better fighter P4P....that's a different argument.

The point is that Ward is going to have to swallow his pride sooner or later if he wants to make some real money cos right now he's being out-earned by George Groves which is sad....

So bring the fight to England and have another Wembley event. That should be enough to draw Ward out. After we see Froch this weekend we'll know more of where he is now, but with his history, I doubt he beats Ward. Still, it would be a great retirement fight for Froch... lotta moolah, and having sold out Wembley vs Groves, Froch would probably have no trouble doing the same with Ward, if it's promoted right. Haveta find the right angle to push it. Grudge match, whatever. It would actually be interesting to see how Ward does on a huge stage with an event like that.

'B side' money is still more than what he would earn fighting an nobody in some YMCA in the bay area.

Yes. Yes he is supposed to. That's exactly what is it. Carl Froch is the A-side.

I'll let you guys have it out but if you're really interested Ward does in the neighborhood of 10,000 fans at Oracle Arena when he fights there. You were off a little. To us that's crazy. Those are very high numbers for a US city. As I'm sure you know boxing is not nearly as popular stateside. Gatti vs. Ward I sold just more than 6,200 tickets. Froch enjoys significantly greater interest as a boxer in the UK than Ward does as a boxer in the US. It's an absurd comparison.
