If Ward is sick of seeing other guys make money, he should face the facts that he isn't the biggest draw and try to change it. Better fighters than Andre Ward have had to do things the hard way. If he has to travel overseas to make a payday, do it.

That is, if money is really his concern and not some need to dictate all the terms for his fights.

he is willing to do just that, travel for more money. the issue is people he already beat want him to fight them in their backyards yet arent willing to make that financial sacrifice to bring him over.

If Groves wins, I'd concede whatever I reasonably could if I was Ward to make that happen. Give him the bigger split, travel to London or wherever in Britain he wants it, do whatever. Again, within reason but still less than Ward's pride and status should have to swallow.

If Groves turns him down knowing he'd get dominated, well at least Ward tried.

If Froch/Groves are happy making money without having to fight Ward then more power to them. But they can't call themselves the best in the division and they can't say they are the true world champion at 168. That's all I'm saying.

It seems to me that their fighting pride should be bothered by that. But some people don't have that heart and fire. If they don't want to risk being #1 you can't force them.

Just be happy Froch is an amazing draw who will make great money. You don;t have to bring up Andre Ward.

If it's cause Froch wants a rematch, then offer Ward a purse he can't refuse with all the money you draw. If you want to make the most money, then fight someone else and quit bringing up the name of a boxer you lost clearly too.
