People thinking Cotto will win I see.... Cotto does have a decent guard that he utilized on Mayweather that might give Sergio fits, ala Martin Murray. Problem is size... Martin Murray was a big middleweight and Cotto is a blown up welterweight as far as I'm concerned. I think Cotto's guard keeps Sergio at bay for a while until he just blasts through it or catches Cotto trying to open up to the body. Another factor is dynamic movement seems to trouble Cotto a bit, and serg has that in spades.

I don't think Serg has that dynamic movement anymore. I also think Cotto's jab may be key.

During the media workout video Cotto's combos seems very dynamic and fluid. Accurate and quick, throwing with conviction and seems to be in very good shape!

All the nay sayers and haters are in for a huge surprise when King Cotto pulls up the upset and wins the MW Championship comes June 7th!

Just because people think Roach is full of **** with this prediction does not equal people saying Cotto is garbage. I said the same thing when he said pacquio would ko JMM. Can we please stop using open media workouts to measure how good a fighter looks? That never made sense to me. The fighter doing the public workout doesn't have someone punching them in the face when they do those things.

Depends what % he comes in to the fight at I guess. I agree Cotto has a nice strong jab that could be his saving grace. Naturally I still favor Martinez though. I think people are counting on Serg having slipped due to age and injury, and if that's Cotto's biggest chance, then Martinez has an advantage from the outset. He's had plenty of time to heal, and he seems very driven to punish Cotto for what he feels is disrespect.

Cotto is not garbage but he is just too small for the higher divisions and Cotto doesn't have this devastating punching power but Martinez does and Cotto gets hit a lot.

Roach is always babbling but that ain't a reason to hate Cotto or any fighter. I like Cotto as a fighter but this Martinez fight is kamikaze.
