Martinez believes he will stop Cotto, who won his first world title at 140-poounds, in nine rounds. Roach feels it will end even quicker, with Cotto winning by way of a knockout in four rounds.

I see the Roach prediction train is on-track towards another derailment

I'm starting to wonder if he actually believes his rap, or if he's just brought into his own hype.

Roach is just confident in his pupils abilities. I think alot of folks on this forum tend to undermine miguel's skills.

He's coming for blood on June 7th. Que viva cotto nation!!!! Guerra Miguel!!!!

said it before and will say it again, sergio martinez has one credible name at elite level on his resume and that fighter is paul williams and even then, paul was a blown up welter.
everybody else (im gonna say including chav jnr) was fringe so why has the boxing community hailed this fellah as some kind of king of the ring?
why has he not faced ward or kessler or even hopkins? infact, what about this ko kid galovkin? only pickin smaller fellahs it seems.
chavez showed us and freddie saw...whilst i dont think freddie roach is eddie futch, i do believe his man will do the argie inside of 7 rnds ending with a vicious left hook in a single punch ko of the over rated "marvel".
up the belgrano! oh...no, its down isnt it..or was!
rule brittania, britannia rules the waves..britain never never never....blah blah b;ah........................

Roach was the worst thing for Cotto at this stage in his career. All he does is feed Miguel's ego. Cotto should be at 147 beating the likes of Bradley and Marquez. Instead he's wasting his career away fighting guys too big for him. I actually think Cotto is better now than he was against Clottey and Pacquiao skill wise. He is better trained and better prepared, but he's fighting at a weight that is too high for him.

So you want him to fight at a weight he hasn't been at since 2009.

Ask Chad Dawson or De La Hoya for their success stories of dropping weight at an older age, when past prime how it all worked out for them.

People actually think Cotto has a chance? Hahahaha
Martinez is faster, bigger and just a more accurate puncher... And with Gaby Sarmiento back in the team... They are going to destroy little Miguelito
