Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach has made a bold prediction for the June 7th showdown between former three division world champion Miguel Cotto (38-4, 31KOs) and WBC middleweight king Sergio Martinez (51-2-2, 28KOs), which takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Martinez believes he will stop Cotto, who won his first world title at 140-poounds, in nine rounds. Roach feels it will end even quicker, with Cotto winning by way of a knockout in four rounds.

Given Martinez' (weak) resume, I have no choice but to agree with Roach. Unless Martinez gets on his bicycle, which he may. Then he will last longer, but still lose.

That's just insane. Although I like Cotto with Roach, when has Cotto ever demolished a top tier fighter within 4 rounds.

I like both fighters, and have a special place in my heart for Miguel, but if he wins that would be quite the accomplishment alone.
