Roach would like the Canelo fight for Pac at a catchweight of 150

So it's ok for PAC to fight Canelo at 150, but not okay for mayweather to fight Canelo at 152. Haha this is so funny, gonna be bumping threads if this fight gets made.

maybe because pac says he will not go above 150 anymore after the marg fight? and maybe because floyd fought at 154 before and says he will never put his opponent at a disadvantage and want to fight them at their best? yeah funny right.

Imagine if they actually made this fight at this weight. Every Manny fan who spent the past year saying Canelo was drained at 152 and the win shouldn't count because of what floyd said.

They would then have to rationalize how to give Manny credit should he win if Canelo is 2lbs lighter by saying well he's heavier than Manny but Manny didn't say anything about CW's so its an ok win.

Does NSB really need any more of that?

stop reaching dude. manny will still get credit IF he beats canelo even at 150he just wont get the full credit he deserve just like floyd. floyd still get credit for beating canelo at 152, people is just giving him a harder time because floyd put himself in that situation by making dumb statements like how he will never drain his opponent and how he wants them at their best, etc. and to add in more floyd also fought at 154 before. if that was pac making all those statement then asked for a CW u guys would be clowning on him too so quit ur

There is no way Canelo makes 150 at this point and I very much doubt Canelo would accept that.

i dont care what anyone says, for a guy like manny to fight and beat someone like canelo, i will still give him credit even if its at 150, he just wont get the full credit. people is dissing floyd not because of the 152 CW but because of what floyd said in the pass regarding CW and fighting his opponents at their best. the 152 CW is just more fuel to add to the fire.

See, its starting already. Manny fans like evol pull this board in the gutter. They stated clearly Canelo was too drained at 152. If so, logic dictates he'd be worse at 150. They cite the draining and the CW as reasons not to give credit, then abandon and flip flop when they think Manny will fight Canelo.

I bet they won't question Canelo's p4p status should they fight either.

why is people suprise by this?? pac fought marg at 150 and after that pac says he will not go up any higher than 150 from now on, so why is it a suprise that pac wont fight canelo above 150??

Actually, I'm almost positive that after he fought Margarito at 150, they said that they would be willing to fight Martinez at 150, then when called on it, didn't accept. Everyone says Mayweather ducked Martinez and if that's the case, Pac ducked him first.

Man I'm new on this forum and I already can't stand floyd's groupies! Man, of course they'd want to fight at a catchweight, they have every reason to ask for it, look at their size and don't forget that Pacquiao started his boxing career at 100 pounds. It's way more reasonable for him to fight Canelo at a catchweight than it is for your lover Floyd.

It's a style thing, Mayweather was at a considerable size disadvantage as well but he possessed the style to off set that. Whitaker is another little guy who would have likely dominated Canelo in similar or better fashion, again mainly because of styles. It's not so much that Pacquiao should look to even things out more, Canelo will tag him and more so because of Pacquiao's inability to slide out of the corner as well as he used to, it'll get ugly for him.
