Manny went down to 143 for Marquez 3 and there were reports not too long ago that if a good fight at 140 can be made then they would go for that too. Floyd on the other-hand couldn't make 144 comfortably against Marquez and came in at 146.

Floyd is a gym rat and that is why he can maintain a relatively stable weight. As for his UNOFFICIAL fight night weight, ...... as the word implies, it's UNOFFICIAL. For example, the Maidana fight. You can tell by his body that he was higher than what they said was his fight night weight.

That reminds me, where is RELOADED? I thought winter was over ..... yet he is still hibernating. Floyd's recent CWs took the wind out of Reloaded.

Pacquiao is naturally 7-9 pounds lighter than Mayweather. Agreeing to fight at 150 is courageous from Pacquiao.

When Pac was fighting Morales at 130 lbs, he came fight night at 143 lbs while his opponent at 136 lbs. (or was that Marquez?)

Canelo is probably not desperate enough for the Pacquiao payday to turn himself into a skeleton for it. He's the 3rd biggest draw in boxing, he can make good money without sacrificing his body.

Fight night weight is their true fighting weight. It's the weight they actually step in the ring and fight at. Unless both HBO's and Showtimes scales are both broke Mayweather weighs the same as Pacquiao.
