It's not terrible. Wasn't he the underdog against Williams? and Bunema whom he absolutely schooled. Pavlik as well

Pavlik, Dzinzurik, Chavez Jr, Williams, Bunema, Macklin, Murray (disputed)

It's not great, but it's decent.

Considering the opponents available and willing to fight him I'd say he has a pretty solid resume. Most of his wins are against much bigger men, and other than the Murray fight he won every fight convincingly. You can even make the argument he should have won the first Williams fight and it goes without saying Cintron was extremely lucky to get a draw.

        Yeah, it's not really.

It's good but nothing overly impressive.

It's one of the better resumes in boxing today. It's also the strongest resume among world class middleweights today.

That and a lineal MW title victory, a Fighter of the year award, a knockout of the year award, is enough to secure a hall of fame career and a place in the p4p top 5. I think after the Murray fight where he probably should have lost a one or two point decision, people started viewing Martinez differently and that***8217;s pretty unfair, the man is 39 and has bad knees. His prime years are probably behind him but if his knees hold up, he should have enough to snuff out Cotto.
Good post,, well put... Serg doesn't have a Floyd or manny or Hopkins type resume but it's better than 99% of boxers today, and only gets beaten by the super elite resumes

Disagree heavily. Very solid resume for reasons already discused.
