You might be suprised to realize those categories are fluid for some....I can be ***ish, Chinese, as a matter of fact I could be Mexican (under certain conditions) if I knew the customs, language, etc. My point in bringing this up is that it is a particular view that some African Americans have, that their identity is not accessible to another...is it right? is it wrong? It just is. The thing is that language has to catch up to these feelings and when an opinion about issues such as this is stated, it can always be interpreted as a transgression, as someone trying to speak for another.....
