There are tons of great black guys that are true role models on how to be successful and how to conduct yourself with class.. unfortunately most of the youth idolize idiots like floyd and TI

Can you imagine *****, oprah, denzel, ****e lee, getting into a fight at god damn Fatburger...
Stfu..people on TV have NO obligation to raise your children. Cut the TV off and become their heros n role models, problem solved... Looking up to Magic? The guy with a gay son he didnt raise and who spent his whole career ****ing random guys and girls cheating on his wife and caught HIV..yeah real classy guy.

      Anytime.

There's a huge difference in what the people who are lashing out at you read and what you actually said.

Anybody who's not an emotional/reactionary type can see that.

Not a Floyd fan at all, but I also thought it was a nice comeback.

Granted, it was immature as **** for a grown man to challenge another man to a fight over something as petty as who he is friends with, but T.I isn't exactly an intellectual giant himself, so I assume Floyd was trying to communicate with him on a level he'd understand.

Its completely reasonable to suggest that kids look up to floyd and TI,,, do you think kids dont,,, you dont think kids want to be like floyd or TI....

I can agree with some of this insofar that parents should be more responsible for monitoring who their children idolize or want to emulate, but we all know that it's impossible for even the greatest parent to eliminate any and all outside influence.

            That said...

What does Magic Johnson's son being gay have to do with anything?

I agree about TV having no obligation to raise your children, but its not just that simple...
I dont know anything about MAgic's gay son, but all i know was he was a successful athlete, who turned his NBA money into a a very successful business career and has revitalized alot of urban areas with his developments and even owns the LA Dodgers... That is a great achievement considering something like 85% of NBA guys are broke after 5 years of leaving the NBA..
I was talking more about his business side, and yes he is no angel but no one is perfect...
I have yet to see magic arrested for domestic dispute, caught with drugs, behaving like a gang ****er, etc....

Shootings have happened over less. Dudes can get twisted up over a female. TI ain't much to look at.. but he's straight from that life. And he got cash. He could put a contract out on Floyd if he wanted to, with little risk of it being traced back to him.

I seriously doubt that this incident escalates any further than it already has, but I also admit that I may be dramatically overestimating the maturity of those involved.
