I dont go on Worldstar ever in my life except for the few times it gets linked on here....
You dont think kids look up to the idiot tactics,, then why do alot of the urban youth, at least where im from in chicago and peoria all want to be gangsta rappers...
Its quite foolish to believe that kids wont think this is cool, and how you should repsond in a situation like this... Floyd really didnt do anything wrong, TI kept hounding him..
I wasnt trying to say earlier that everyone thinks these guys are cool.. but a huge percent do think its cool... thats why gangster rap is such a huge business in terms of sales...
Much like how dumb white girls think its cool to be like the Kardashians, and a bunch of white idiots think its cool to be like david allan coe...

Why does the songs degrading women, sensationalizing violence, and drug dealing are the biggest hits.... You have to be a complete idiot to think that the youth doesnt think this is cool.....
Why does rap hardly ever mention things like doing good in school, and saving your money and investing it wisely... because the youth doesnt think thats cool and it doesnt sell........
No one is trying to degrade the black youth, the only point was that idiots get idolized by society and the media, which in turn shapes the attitudes of the youth....

I understand what you're getting at, but you need to realise that if it wasn't Mayweather or TI it would be somebody else.

There are a lot of degenerates who think **** like that is the way to behave, but good role models wouldn't change a thing. Why? Because plenty of good role models exist, whom they shun.

The problem ultimately rests with their parents/caregivers. They are the one's who are in control of how their minds develop. If they raised their children and instilled positive values in them, they wouldn't seek out trash.

This post reeks of naivete. Tell me, how many kids have you met that told you they look up to TI? Do you think robbing and killing goes on in poor neighborhoods because they're emulating rap songs? Or is it vice versa? I think you need to step back from the computer and stop with your pontificating because you just don't know what you're talking about and it keeps getting worse with each post I read.
Well then i cant help you if you cant understand...

tell me,, how many old people are buying TI albums..

Being naive is what your doing,,, why do you think they have so many urban shootings.... In my town he have at least 1 or 2 a week, and every day someone is robbed and mugged

So your actually saying that TI and FLoyd are good role models, or that youth doesnt look up to them.. either way is wrong and naive

Why dont you stop being super sensitive...

Why is there so many urban shootings... And if its rappers just talking about where they come from, then why do they sensationalize it... Why dont they say thats the wrong thing to do, and that you should pay attention in school, get an education, save your money, Why dont rappers talk about that. Grant it their is some that do but its not the norm..

          • I can't believe the number of idiots who think those from poor areas are emulating rappers when it's vice versa.

What makes you think that buying an album means that person is your role model? 70% of hip-hop albums are bought by non-Black/Hispanic people. I'd love to hear how these white people are emulating rappers (who they look up to). Don't worry, I'll wait.

You're talking about commercial rap music, which like almost everything else in the mainstream media is pitched at the lowest common denominator in order to maximise sales. That's not representative of rap music anymore than Nickleback are representative of rock.

Sex, violence, and material wealth is the lowest common denominator. It appeals to even the dumbest chump with a dollar in his pocket. That's what mainstream entertainment is all about. Look at Mayweather himself.

My whole point is that kids look up to people with the status of floyd and TI..
To argue that is totally idiotic
