The absence of "mommy and daddy" in black homes is exaaggerated. Most black kids have someone in the home that's a good role model. If its not mom and/or dad, its a grandparent, aunt, uncle, or someone. Its not Floyd, TI, or any other public figure's job to raise kids that aren't their's.

You won't find me agreeing with Adam a lot but as far as London is concerned, he's damn right. I grew up with like 90% black friends, still friends with loads of them now and about 60% (conservative estimate) not have dads, most of their single mums try their best but they workin 2 jobs a day, when they gon see their kids?
No male role model, no mother at home, who they turn to? Fools like Tupac, Jayz, Kanya, Lamar, this fool Floyd and TI, thats who they turn to. Thats their music, thats their sporting hero, like it or not, generalisation or not, its a damn fact.
Edit: just last week I was on the tube (underground train) where two ****** wanabe, Afro-American "bad men" were talking about how they were going to "break out" and "get rich" but still 2neevr leave the hood"...this **** happening in London England, where hip hop is only a fraction as influential as it is in American culture, day to day life and sports.Comment

Do you actually think kids dont idolize floyd and TI....
Do you think getting into fights at FatBurger over instagram pics is the classy thing to do...
Honestly, if you had kids, would you want them to be like floyd and TI or more classier individuals like Damon from FUBU or Lebron James, or even Al haymon...
My only point was there is tons of successful, classy people that dont get looked at as role models yet idiots like floyd, TI, even the Kardashians and the idiots on Real World are looked at as cool....Comment
