Stevenson looked more vulnerable in his last fight. I still think he could win against Hopkins but you can never count Hopkins out. I think a fight with Kovalev is even more interesting. Nobody says this but Kov. doesn't react well to getting hit. He takes it, but he has a look on his face like he's never been hit before. Not a good sign. It happens to guys who knock everyone out till they meet someone who hits as hard and fast as they do. They tend to buckle to the unfamiliar experience. I think Stevenson would win even though he does exert a lot of energy in the first half of the fight. Seeing Kov's face wince will only feed Stevenson to attack more and Kov. isn't a counter puncher. I see a KO.

Kovalev used counter punching quite decently against Sillah, who was regarded more of a "counter punching" specialist. Kovalev times very well.

I believe Cleverly said Kovalev has very good timing.

This happens quite often with Stevenson. I noticed it during the Bellew fight too.

For me I thought it stayed the same. He needed the rounds because he's been walking through guys. He's not unbeatable but I think he's capable of beating anybody at LHW.

Overall I still had Adonis winning all the same rounds as the judges except for the 2nd round which was clearly Fonfara.

It did drop, but boxing is what it is these days, everyone has a short memory and remembers your last performance. If he beats Hopkins convincingly his stock will go back up and everyone will want the Kovalev fight again

Stevenson's reign is running out. He's good, but not great. The division isn't exactly stacked so he has been looking good lately. Hopkins outboxes him and Kovalev KOs him.
