Why would you run from a pressure fighter all night, at some point you have to put your foot in the ground....and if you have great boxing IQ why not counter off the ropes? Oh sure bring up Cotto who is on the elite level, while Maidana and Provod arent.
Floyd would box circles around Ruslan with his "old legs"

Almost close to nothing because he was not throwing nearly enough of punches to seriously challenge Tim because he had gassed himself out earlier by attempting to finish him off in the first two rounds of that bout, due to his lack of stamina.

Moreover in the process, he had taken several middle rounds off while allowing Bradley to gain a foothold back into the fight and ultimately winning it after falling behind very early due to his very low punch volume. Provodnikov only fought in spurts while Bradley dominated the middle rounds by out punching him by some 2 to 1 margin.

Also, lastly Mayweather has a much better defense than Timothy Bradley. He would never get hit with those same type of punches that Bradley did. Therefore, unless he hurts Floyd or knock him out, then there is no way Provodnikov is defeating Floyd with that kind of inconsistent work rate. If anything, he would run the risk of getting Gatti'd by him due to his poor stamina and low punch volume. Afterall, Money May likes to hit opponents who doesn't hit back. He is cautious enough to stay out of the exchanges,
Rewatch the 5th and 6th rounds of that fight.
Ruslan starts murdering Bradley in the corner, Bradley sits down on the 2nd rope from the bottom.
The ref who should have called it a knockdown ,because Bradley was being held up by the ropes, decides to break them up even though there is no clinch.

A one sided ref job which reflected on the scorecards.
The judges had the same scorecard as I did but that's because the first round "knockout" didn't count and the ref stepped in during a middle round where Bradley was being killed.

Now all these wild swinging brawlers think they gotta chance.. This **** getting ridiculous, the hardest punches Maidana landed were behind the head.

In the Bradley vs Prodvodnikov bout; Out of a ten round span between rounds 2-12, Ruslan only won two rounds that were decisive; Rounds 6 and 12. On the other hand, largely due to Ruslan poor stamina and low work rate, Bradley won eight rounds that were decisive; Rounds 3,4,5,7,8,9,10 and 11.

Just based off those stats, Money May would have a field day against Ruslan. If Tim could out box him 8-2 in a ten round span, then just imagine what would Floyd do to him a twelve round span? Also, since Floyd won't trade toe to toe with him like Bradley did in the first two rounds of their bout, then what remote chance does Provodnikov has of ever hurting him or knocking him out? None.

Lol... Floyd couldn't box circles around Maidana. Ruslan is a better inside fighter than Maidana.

You are ******ed. Maidana gave Floyd all he could handle, Ruslan is a better infighter than Maidana. It's more ******ed to act like Floyd beats all styles with ease than to say he has trouble with a pressure fighter who knows how to apply pressure instead of flail like a clown like your Guerreros, Canelos and Ortizes.

We know you will be tough for Mayweather, Provo, and even if you were a big enough name to get the fight..Mayweather would already have the built-in excuse that you have to leave your promoter and sign with Al Haymon...and give Mayweather some fights under Mayweather promotions...not to mention you'd have to wear Winning gloves for the fight

LMAO @ people thinking Provodnikov would beat Floyd, or even trouble him.

Floyd is on another level from Provodnikov. Bradley only struggled with Provodnikov because he fought dumb. Floyd is too smart to make the same mistakes Bradley did. He would Gatti Provodnikov.
