Hopefully Chaves can KO Rios and retire him.

Rios doesn't have a ton of brain cells to begin with. Chaves is a bad style matchup. He's a big ww with one punch ko power. This won't end well for Rios. On a different note am I the only one that would like to see a Thurman Chaves rematch?

            Prefer this Chaves to Omar.

Also they should've went with Demarco for Vargas, but oh well

I think this is a bad choice for rios to stay at welterweight.Chaves is a very good fighter and i could see this ending up like corrales in his fight with clottey.. rios should be more disciplined and stay at 140..im pulling for rios but i feel this fight is all wrong for him...

As much as I like Chaves, it won't be an easy fight for him. Rios the punching bag went 12 rounds with pacquiao. It's not as easy a fight as people are making it out to be. Great fight though

Chaves is a bit overrated but he has the speed in his hand and feet to outbox Rios. If he can do it for the first half of the fight without getting caught he has a big chance to beat Rios.

Rios is in the **** pile of the sport after his dirty test and his weight issues...he better get his shhh together cause espn don't pay HBO kind of money. They always have that alvarado vs rios fight and the loser of that might as well retire.

Chaves was outboxing Thurman before getting dropped and stopped. For a guy with short reach he sure found his distance. This is a terrible choice for Rios. Chaves got stopped mainly cuz of those Thurman body shots. No big issues with his chin and Rios has unproven power at WW still.
