Isn't this the same mentality that Froch had before facing Groves? We all know what happened there and now they both have a massive rematch coming up.

This is poor from Amir, give us the big British showdown we want whether you believe he 'deserves' it or not.

Me living in the States, im not privy to Brook. How good is he? I give Khan props because atleast he dares to be great, not too many champions that fight consecutive fights away from home let alone title defenses. That takes alot of heart and self belief to do that.

If Brooks fights anybody of note and wins this fight would be so much more marketable.

I do some agree with Khan that Brooks nursing a "0" so he can get paid. But on the flip side I know that fight would be very popular in the UK

Brooks needs to step up and fight porter and not just wait for the Amir fight.
Look how well that approach turned out for khan/mayweather.

Khan said he'll fight him if he wins a strap or beats someone good

What more reason is there for Brook for not to want to step up?

Why is Brooks career defined by calling Khan out?

This guy has done NOTHING but fight bums in his own backyard in Sheffield, he's had a opportunity to fight big names and turned dem down time and time again

Khan owes him nothing, not a thing,

Brook is starting to remind me of Jnr Witter calling out Hatton

If Brook doesnt fight Porter next he might as well retire.

I'm not sold on Brook, so he needs to start selling himself to fans like myself by fighting better competition and if he does he'll win me over as a new fan

It seems GBP don't want the fight. It's not a duck by Porter, but it will further delay Brook's quest for a title shot.

Feel for Brook, but he cannot sit around forever waiting as IBF mandatory.

One name Khan is not going to consider for a fall opponent is domestic rival Kell Brook - unless Brook reaches a deal to fight undefeated IBF welterweight champion Shawn Porter - and captures Porter's title. Brook is the mandatory challenger and his promoter, Eddie Hearn, is currently speaking with Golden Boy regarding the bout.

As much as I hate Khan for always running is yap, I believe he is a 100 percent correct in this case. Brooks do need step up in competition and stop fight all these taxi cab drivers before he start calling Khan for a big money fight. Porter will be a good start. Let's see how much cojones he's got.

Porter will have to vacate then.

Khan gets paid regardless...fighting brook does nothing for him.

He does however possess a good level of power himself, although it's not been shown properly it's because his trainers disallow him to due to the risk he would take while getting his power shots off.

I don't like Brook, simply because in his 32 fights the best opponent he has faced was Senchenko, who Paulie Maliganaggi beat and continues to have an easy padded record.

Nasim Hamed usually rates any Brit fighters if they have serious World potential but he hasn't done in a long time purely because he knows something about Brook the public don't, however he won't go out there and speak against his fellow Sheffield companion.

For those of you who haven't met or seen Brook in person, he is really small for the WW division, and IF and thats a big IF, he fights Porter you will see how much of a smaller guy he actually is.
Kell should at least fight someone like Josesito Lopez first.
