HBO's money is earmarked for Pacquiao and Arum? Are you serious? You sure you're not talking about Showtime's money and Floyd Mayweather?
But still, the fact is that Stevenson is not at Showtime because he is making LESS now. Hopkins-Stevenson would probably do fairly well on PPV based on the fact that Adonis actually has a chance to be the one to put the final nail in the coffin of hopkins' career, unlike recent Hopkins foes like Shumenov and Murat. If Adonis stops Fonfara in spectacular fashion tomorrow, then it will only help to build interest in that fight even more. After Hopkins he will probably have more options at Showtime as well. If he stayed at HBO, he would vanquish Kovalev, but then what? Pray for a fight with a reluctant-to-move-up Andre Ward? Or maybe a fight with Chavez Jr, who probably still has delusions of being able to make the middleweight limit.

He's getting paid less to fight Fonfara than he would have to fight Kovalev you idiot. He could've fought Kovalev, then gone to Showtime.

'Hey Adonis, how'd you feel about a fight with Kovalev?'

'ahem... who wants to see me fight Froch?' LOOOOOOOOOOL

Landing one punch in the 1st round against a shot fighter is not impressive.

Cloud is a nobody. His best win was an SD over a shot Campillo. LOL @ calling him "rugged". Cleverly is better than Bellew, but not by much. I clearly said "shot Campillo" when listing Kovalev's best wins you fool. Sillakh was not shot. He'd been KO'd before Kovalev nearly killed him, but he still had a lot left in him. Oh and Campillo beat Shumenov, but lost a BS decision.

I CLEARLY stated that their resumes really aren't that different. Stop trying to make out that Stevenson's resume is so much better than Kovalev's. It's not.

He's a coward. That's an indisputable fact. He could've fought Kovalev instead of Fonfara for more money but instead chose to run to Showtime, so stop with this 'it's about money' bull****, because he's getting LESS to fight Fonfara than he would've for fighting Kovalev.
Stevenson is the Champion and making money. Kovalev has NOBODY to fight.
Of course Kovalev fans are going to be a little bit jealous and upset. I get it.

Stevenson's reaction after being asked about a fight with Kovalev (after beating Bellew): "who wants to see me fight Froch?" ROFL

Stevenson could've stayed at HBO, fought Kovalev instead of Fonfara, then gone to Showtime.

Stevenson's best wins: one punch KO in the 1st round against shot Dawson, Bellew & Cloud (who?)

Kovalev's best wins: shot Campillo, Cleverly (who's better than Bellew - Cleverly beat Bellew) & Sillakh.

Point is, their resumes really aren't that different.

You're such a little crybaby. LOL
Well if there resumes are that crappy why fight now when they can fight when both are well established and would be a way bigger. If they fought now it wouldn't be that big both are barely making a name for themselves. Think about smart guy....

Because he is getting paid 40% more than what HBO was offering f@cking genius. So if your job was offering you a bonus of $1000 or a bonus for $10000 and you would have to choose you take the $1000 right? Idiots!

Adonis Stevenson is the true meaning of "paper champion"...always out to get the easy fights to build what he calls his legacy, which in fact wont amount to $#!t because all he's ever gonna be known for is ducking and dodging Kovalev, it's always something with this guy!!! Not enough money, he has'nt fought anybody credible, switching labels, next he will be faking injuries!!! Hopkins will beat this haitian clown this fall if he decides that he will actually take the fight with hopkins after he blows out fonfara, which by the way has no business in the ring fighting for any kind of a belt.

yep kovalev doesn't have stevenson to fight... stevenson ran away scared. stevenson is making less money fighting fonfara than he would have fighting kovalev. FAIL LOL

lol you're so desperate. you take a big L for this one. anyone who attempts to defend stevenson's cowardice does.

Lets go over this again. Before showtime was ever involved, he was given the kovalev fight, but declined it to fight Fonfara instead. If he is all about chasing the money, why didnt he choose the bigger money fight in Kovalev instead of Fonfara. He must hate money, this is the only logical reasoning

If my job was offering me more money for Job A (kovalev) than Job B (Fonfara), i would take job B because i hate money, just like Adonis

I'd love for Fonfara to deck Stevenson. Still, I have Stevenson by stoppage.
