Why is there more mma segments on network tv and non for boxing?

I see mma on ****e, fox, espn etc etc and they have a timeslot to discuss they and have their respective shows but boxing has none. Why is this when all the numbers prove that MMA is dying or topped out and boxing just keep growing and is the biggest money earner out the two, I feel like theirs a corporate agenda to push MMA for some odd reason and not so much boxing. What do you guys think? and also to admins/mods I wasnt sure where to post this so feel free to move it to its proper location.

The networks have fallen prey to the narrative that boxing is dying and that mma is the up and coming sport of the future.

But those ideas are so five years ago. Mixed martial arts has become overesaturated and the momentum they once had has stalled badly. Meanwhile boxing is playing to large crowds worldwide.

The thing that hurts boxing is that it's so disorganized and there isn't one single entity that oversees the entire sport. The casual fan who might be interested in following it will quickly get lost in the maze of sanctioning bodies, promoters, and super champions vs regular champions.

Because MMA promoters are paying for the slots and boxing promoters are not...really it is that damn simple...

Commercials and slots come with a price and the MMA people are paying for it..maybe Boxing promoters should follow their lead

Entertainment Value, watching random boxing on MSG not knowing anything about who your watching can get boring to the casual boxing fan, UFC is for the most part constant action and brutality which will catch anyones eye not many people care about the technical aspect.

I would compare it to Baseball (Boxing) and Football (UFC) at the moment.

Because Dana White is a better/cleverer businessman than Bob Arum or R.S.

Everyone that has posted is dead wrong.....

Its because Boxing is a pathetic joke of a sport...
Just look at the rankings, match making, etc...

The titles are a joke, rankings are even worse...

Try explaining the champs to a casual fan.. Mw champ is ggg, but also serg, and also sturm, and there is also quillen... Why dont they fight each other,, oh because they have politics..
Floyd gonna cancel due to gloves
Serg stripped of title, and its given to Chavez jr vs a guy that HBO wouldnt let serg fight but they would chavez

Stiverne was a #1 contender,,, who the hell did he beat to get the arreola eliminator..
Wilder is now a #1 contender
Herrera gets no rematch vs danny
                Khan is #1 at welter
Peterson fails drug tests, and gets ko'd but still is a champ
                Unifications at catchweights

Boxing is so ******, in MMA especially UFC you never get some contender that hasnt fought anyone.. Can anyone really say with a straight face that wilder, stiverne, etc earned their #1 contendership...

Boxing is very top-heavy. The guys at the very top get all the attention and below them is tumbleweeds and crickets. Unless one of the big names is fighting the media turns boxing off.

It's much easier for casual fans to see guys coming years in advance in MMA and get excited when they finally get a title shot. It's very ******uous in a good way.

You have to be a hardcore analyst to see guys coming like that in boxing. The standard format (prospect A beats 30 nobodies in Bulgaria, prospect B beats 30 nobodies at Indian Casino, prospects fight, winner is cheesily elevated superstardom) gives casual fans maybe 6 months to pretend to know who a guy is and get excited about his title shot.
