Thank you, I was waiting on someone to say this. Maidana isn't fighting again unless he gets the rematch or somehow gets a Pac fight which is pretty much impossible.

I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch myself, but he might just be saying that as a threat. Floyd doesn't have many options for September and Chino has to be at the top of the list

Maidana retiering if he dosen't get floyd? Why would he retire he is 30 years old and has great career options? He could rematch Floyd or Khan, he could fight Matthysse or Garcia eventually or he might go to top rank sooner or later.

People accuse Floyd of ducking even if promoters and fighters reject fighting him, so this will be nothing new.

I dont see how Floyd cannot face Maidana again. If Floyd doesnt pick Maidana he better face someone dangerous where he is favored to lose. Possibly someone at 154 or 160.
