What's the odd's you'd be lying about either of these fights if they get made? Pretty high I'd imagine.

I would say Porter now, because Floyd just fought a style most similar to his. I think Porter has some of the ingredients to give Floyd a test, but if he waits him out another year, and Porter continues to win, Floyd may be in trouble with that youngster. He's a midwest fighter too.

I think Thurman could pose a bigger threat in the future, and I'd rather wait on that. Not that I'm objecting to the fight if it happened next, but I'd rather see Porter now because I think he's the better fight now, where Thurman would be better a year from now.

See I think the opposite. Im not seeing Thurman getter much better than what his now, and I think his style like Jermaine Taylor has its limits. His calling card(punching power) will always be the great equalizer, but honestly the kid has been fighting for a while, and he gets hit a lot, so for me the next 12 months he needs to do something to land Floyd now or he may get clipped and miss the boat. Basically he needs a high profile fight this summer, with a convincing KO to set him up for a possible fall showdown with Floyd.

I think Porter has the goods to beat him. Of course there may be some glaring flaw Mayweather exposes that we haven't seen but Porter's youth and menacing attack would be hell for the 37-year-old version.
