BigPop posted the numbers. I guess BigPop is a liar too. Pac and Margarito fanatics are the worst fanatics alive. This wasn't a super fight and 900,000 ppv's are very good numbers.
Arum: "Mayweather-Maidana didn't even hit 800,000, it lost a lot of money"

I don't believe in any of these numbers. They are all lies to me.
All I know is that when I visited NSB after the fight lo and behold I didn't have to log in to be able to read threads. The traffic was smooth as butter, which was very unusual for a high profile fight like this.
There's no doubt Schaefer/Mayweather team knew it would tank. Signs were there like having a hard time selling tickets.
The numbers were way below 800K, I believe.Comment

I bought the fight on HD. It's a routine for me to check NSB immediately after the fight. The busy traffic usually lasts for many hours for high profile fights. This fight was like any normal day at NSB.Comment

I was suprised when I would click on a thread and all the gifs loaded in less than 3 seconds. It usually takes me around 5+ secondsComment

Between 800-900k would be a fine number if they didn't have to pay Floyd the ridiculous $32 million guarantee he gets. What fights could he possibly have to even break 1.2 million and generate a profit? Obviously a Canelo rematch next year and Manny, that's about it. Expect Showtime to push for both fights before next September. Expect neither fight to happen.Comment

Showtime hasn't said anything. 900k is from outside sources. People always stretching facts in this site to make a point.
Now people are using these outside sources as proof showtime is lying. I mean really?
Anyone who thinks Arum is truthful thinks Marquez is clean. Dude only goes into the media to lie. Oly time he makes appearances is too lie.Comment
