I agree 100 percent on Rudy Hernandez. The only problem is that Hernandez is busy all the time. Seriously he is used as a cut man by a lot of fighters. There are even times when the UFC has used him. So is schedule might cause problems.

although Alvarado is delusional if he thinks he won on the cards - it was bs that ref stepped, allowing JMM time to recover but didn't give Alvarado credit for the knockdown. Why did he step in then?

JMM clearly didnt go down. But Alvarado's complaint about the ref is legit. Not only did he give the "down" signal, but he also stepped in between them, and then decided to make 3 of those "no KD" signals while in between them

I need to quit being so hard. That was probably Alvarado's best payday ever. This isn't as bad as crying and making excuses. He thinks he won (maybe) and he wants more (money for sure), He's just pleading his case. No harm in that.

All of that is completely false and will make him feel like an idiot after viewing the fight.
I admit I was confused if Marquez's gloves touched the canvas or not. I was leaning towards no, but still wanted to see the SM replay to confirm. From Alvarado's angle, you can easily see why he thinks Marquez's gloves touched the floor. The ref just did a great job and was in the right position to make the call, like Lampley said. It's a call that could have easily been blown by another badly positioned ref because in normal speed, it happened real quick. If you're looking at the fight without knowing what's gonna happen, like watching it live, you could kinda miss it. If you are rewatch the fight, you'll be more attentive at the near KD and see that JMM did not go down even in regular speed. Like for example I was watching it with 4 people, and two of them thought JMM's glove touched the canvas but I said I don't think he did but I wasn't really sure. Then finally the replay confirmed he clearly didn't touch.

This fight wasn't even close-Alvarado didn't throw a damn punch for at least 9 rounds! lmao

This guy's a joke. It was a shut out for an old 40+ year old JMM...Alvarado had one brief moment of success in a round that he was losing anyways...even with the kd, you can make a case that it wasn't a 10-8 round, and that tells you how bad he did in the fight.

****ing sore loser. All he did was put up his guard up and coming forward without throwing punches or trapping Marquez on the ropes. The worse part of it was that he tried to outboxed a far superior boxer even though he would've been better off trying to utilized his size and strength advantage.

I just lost respect for mike. He clearly lost this fight. He was truly outclassed in this fight.

Alvarado put on such a bad performance that his paycheck should be withheld.
