  • Anyone know where I can get this online? feel free to PM. Thanks

I really want to see Groves win this, Froch is a good fighter with an incredible engine but he always comes across as a plank when he talks and wasnt impressed by his miserable excuses from the last fight.

Cant wait for this (if anyone can help with the above it would be massively appreciated)

    WAR GROVES!!!

Unfortunately I need to go out, so I'm going to miss most of the undercard fights. Hoping I'll be back to see DeGale get knocked out.
Is it? Then maybe they'll have a floater between the main and the co-event. Martin J Ward is fighting I noticed, so that might be there.

I think the plan was always to get the main event in around 11 ish because of HBO.

Groves lost the fight in that round imo. Punched himself out on Froch's bonce and was hurt late.

He had a pretty decent round 7 though. And 8 for that matter where he won on 5/6 scorecards (i think).

I think he punched himself out throughout the whole fight to be honest. He needs to pace himself a lot more this time around to keep his explosiveness.

            • A cant miss fight.

I want Froch to win. Groves is such a ****. But again this ****ish behaviour has gotten under Froch's skin again. Not as much as last time, but still clearly evident as seen in their face off with Johnny Nelson. It was as if you did not know better, you'd think that Groves had won the first fight. Froch was so much in defense mode. I think him hiring a sportspsychologist is a good move. That will help him deal with Groves's verbal jabs.

Froch does so clearly have respect for Groves. Not compared to Kessler at all as I sense Froch's respect contains some genuine doubt in his ability to be victorious here.

What speaks for Froch is that the KD in the first fight had him hurt for several rounds in which he took an awful lot of stick. If Groves doesn't catch him again this should be different.

Groves also seems to lack a bit in the stamina departement. He will have to pace himself better and not go for the KO. Groves is faster and he can outbox Froch which he must. He must outbox and counter Froch all Night.

Froch will have to box controlled behind the jab. That jab will be Froch's Key. It didn't work for him last time, which I believe was because that KD made his gameplan vanish through the Window. Or maybe Froch is as old as his birthcertificate says. He has been in so many wars and there's a good chance that he is past it by some distance.

I've been on the fence all the way through but now I have to make the pick. Both say it will end inside the distance and there is a fair chance that it will. I think it will go the distance though.

Groves by UD. Something like 8-4.

That round did fuck George in the end.

He hit him with absolutely everything and clean as you like. Brutal round.

                  Froch's resilience is unreal.

I swear George could have taken a baseball bat to him and not got him out of there after that.

I don't think it broke his heart but it must have emptied the tank.

Fight had turned, Froch took over after the 6th. He said Groves's punches didn't have the same snap on them after that.

Good post. Even though you dropped the C bomb on Groves

I think the bold is key. Maybe it's key for both fighters as Froch was hurt and not himself for the next 4-5 rounds, but also Groves maybe threw caution to the wind a little too much and gave it all he had when he saw Froch was hurt.

That could have taken away from his performance down the stretch.
Not sure if it goes 12 though, I think if it hasn't been stopped within 6 - Groves will box and move and try not to get caught.

Tough one, don't even know who I'd pick but if my house was on it, probably Froch.

But I still fancy Groves to do the job either by retirement or by decision. Don't think he can knock Froch out.
