I met Froch and he's one of the nicest, most down to earth people you can meet.

Just turns into a bit of a tit whenever he talks about himself.

      Full details:

Kevin Mitchell has failed the check weigh-in for his Froch-Groves II undercard bout against Ghislain Maduma.

The 29-year-old weighed in at 10st 6lbs 11oz, with IBF rules stating he cannot weigh more than 10lbs over on the morning of the fight.

The IBF lightweight limit is set at 9st 9lbs, with Mitchell 12lbs over, and it means he may not get his subsequent shot at IBF lightweight champion Miguel Vázquez - the prize that awaits the winner of tonight's eliminator.

Congo-born Maduma, 29 and fighting out of Montreal, Canada, made the weight without any difficulty as he goes in search of an 11th knockout in 17 fights (16-0).

Dagenham-born Mitchell (37-2, 17KO) is ranked fifth in the IBF lightweight rankings behind fourth-place Maduma.

        • I tweeted to Groves last week to throy a jab, make a right hand feint, and then land the left hook flush.

Carl Froch would hardly have an answer to this.

Froch's only chance is to catch Groves on the inside.

That's his line, no matter how ****** he looks he can cover it up with that meaningless, open ended line that he couldn't even explain to Johnny Nelson
To be fair, it's not hard to understand he means that everything he does, is for a reason :/

Yeah and the ****** couldn't even just say that

That's literally all he had to say.

But no he'd rather stare into space with his mouth open.

I'm sure he'll take your advice on board.

                  • I'd like to thank Dr.Eisenfaust for tonight's victory, without his tweet I don't think it would've been possible.
