Alvarado is the pretty much same level as ruslan which is bum level and the only reason that ruslan had any success against Bradley is because Bradley fought ruslan fight by choice and ruslan still couldn't beat Bradley . I agree with your whole post..I'll just say tho,Marquez is not a young man..Prov would have been at him none stop bro..Marquez has never been that hard to hit either..I could see Prov doing real damage to Marquez,not saying he is a shoe in to win..I'd pick Prov in this match up..

Hey I might've picked Provo too just because you never know when JMM's wheels gonna fall off. He's old and he's been through a lot but people saying that JMM is scared is BS. If Provodnikov was a champ at 147 JMM would fight him right away. He wanted an easier fight in Alvarado because he wants to fight for the title at 147 thus all.

Provo has been a warrior in ONE fight really, against Bradley. ONE fight and he's been labelled this CRAZY Warrior that ain't about that life. JMM's been kicking ass since he was 17 and has been to hell and back so many times he considers hell a second home. Nobody in the game right now has more GRIT than JMM. Guys like Pacman, Floyd, Bernard and JMM are all time greats cause of their longevity, which clearly shows that their skill and physical level is above and beyond all of them hyped off ONE fight KRAZY Warriors.

Dude is going to have to do a lot more then beat Alvorado to impress me.. What I see? A robotic fighter who solely relies on toughness. Chases his opponents around, doesn't cut off the ring late in fights, no thought process in his punch selection, by rds 6 he is reduced to fighting in spots and simply follows his opponent around doing nothing because of fatigue...

I don't know what you guys are seeing, but he's just a tougher stronger version of Rios IMO.

He doesn't stack up with pressure fighters like Matthysse, Maidana, Golovkin. They all have their own quirks in the ring, and fight differently, but the thing they have over a guy like Ruslan? Basic boxing fundamentals. They think in the ring, and use a strategy.
