That fight would be off the hook. Ruslan could definitely stop Jmm but how would he handle jmms counters? That right hand tonight that dropped Alvarado was sensational. To drop a bigger man like that is epic, Alvarado almost landed outside the ring. Ruslan is tough but it's hard to imagine anyone walking through those kind of well placed power shots

Even though Alvarado that fought Herrera, Rios twice, Prescott would have still lost, he would have made it MUCH more interesting. I think it's clear as **** Mike has lost something with basically 5 consecutive wars in a row. So Marquez even this past it was able to have his way and then some.

I agree Ruslan, who's much fresher than Mike, and ultimately even more grueling, would have made it more interesting.

That's why it should have been him in there. Mike should've been the one taking a tune up, he lost the fight. JMM should've been fighting Provonikov. Too bad he didn't want it. It's not like Provonikov is a beast that's unstoppable...he lost to Herrera.

The funny thing is we're talking about these Top Rank guys, Rios/Alvarado/Provonikov, and NONE are probably even as good as Maidana. LOL

Have you seen that commercial (maybe it's just a comedy short?) where some sportscaster in New York City is asking random passerby what they thought of some famous baseball player and invites them to say to a cardboard likeness of said player what they think about him? As soon as they start going off about ***** moves and the like, the player walks out from behind the cardboard likeness and they go all wobbly kneed and begin to lavishly compliment him.
