You meant Pacquiao generated the most sleep right? He even got himself tucked in during his performance, that's talent right there.

PPV numbers are irrelevant when 1: mayweather doesnt want to fight "a 6 million dollar fighter" and 2: he isnt prepared to split any PPV revenues with him.

the fight is also irrelevant now anyway and doesnt mean anything. its not 2010 anymore. im sure floyd will do just fine beating up on goldenboy fighters and pac with top rank fighters.

Something like that can happen to anyone. Especially someone who fights aggressively like Manny (style). Happened to Lewis, Tyson, Roy Jones, .......... perhaps you are new to the sport?

Boxing Scene is a classic example of "There is more of them than there is of us". I hesitate to post my opinion in every thread because from reading the replies I see that there are 20 flamers in every thread that have no interest in any from of intelligent debate.

According to the Boxing Scene majority 700K-800K (as reported by Arum) for Pac-Bradley II is good but 800K-900K (as reported by Rafael) for Mayweather-Maidana (a perceived mismatch) is labeled as "the fans are wising up to Mayweather". Floyd Mayweather just sold 850K PPVs against Marcos Maidana in a fight that every single fan pegged as a mismatch. But he's getting paid a lot so it doesn't count.

I don't know why I keep coming back here. I wish there was a place on the internet that had solid traffic that didn't have children posting messages. I would even pay like $5 a month to post on such a website.

Perhaps you just don't like other people's opinions? Just asking .....

In my opinion, you have to take everything into account.

With Floyd's numbers you need to also realize the date, the undercards, and so on.

With Manny he had a devastating loss previous to that, fought a guy that has 6 fans and most people thought that Bradley lost to Manny already (convincingly).

Bottom line is that you need BOTH to fight each other to generate the PPV numbers that people are expecting. It's not Floyd that will bring them in not Manny but BOTH!

            TRUTH:
The real reason this discussion keeps on coming up is because Floyd's roadblock #10 is that he wants ALL PPV money due to him getting better PPV numbers. Then goes to analyze "his way" why he deserves ALL PPV MONEY without being objective about it.

First of all none of them went beddy bye bye like "Snow Pac" who needed to be kissed by the fat dwarf Buboy to wake up which still took 5 minutes. The only one who came close to that was Roy Jones in the second Taylor fight. Guess what? I do not ranked them very high in terms of P4P greatest boxers ever. Tyson every time he stepped up got beat and knocked out a couple times. Roy Jones same thing with him. Lewis is the best guy you mention so I give you that because I think he was actually excellent but he never went to sleep, so get it right.

He's on video saying that he would have talked to Pacquiao about ppv money if he actually negotiated, but he didn't. You ignore this because it doesn't fit your agenda. Maidana even got a percentage of this last ppv. Floyd says random **** to piss off Pacquiaos fan base and u idiots fall for it every time.

Just like when he said publicly that he wouldn't give Pacquiao 50/50 before they negotiated in 09, but it was easily agreed to when they actually sat down to talk. If he would have agreed to a 14 day cut off then we wouldnt be having this discussion.

Now go ahead...do the typical 'we ain't talkin about 09, we talkin bout now!' Line.

09 was the only official negotiations though, there was no other formal discussions or agreements past Pacquaio and Arums initial duck.

Why are you bringing all that up? What did I say that is incorrect? Is it not the only reason that the TS brought it up and it has been brought up so many more times than with any other fighters?

Just keep it real for a change buddy!
