Your not a biased boxing fan.
It just shows Floyd's fuvked up antics are getting old.
He's playing us fans for fools. I feel you bud.Comment

And that's with Khan and Broner on the card. 2 guys who were drawing a million, plus views on HBO/Showtime.
Another money loser for Showtime. How's that $32 million guarantee looking now. And I laugh at the people who said Canelo didn't bring any fan base with him PPV number wise. We've seen 2 flops financially for Showtime out of 3 fights.Common misconception. Promoter guarantees purse, not SHO. "@iamnotwhoiam: People say SHO guarantees Floyd***39;s 32M purse. Since when...?"

There's no doubt that GBP is paying Floyd Mayweather...but I think it's almost certain that Showtime has to indirectly pay for a good amount of Floyd's purse. How much is the real questionComment

I suspect this is one of the main reasons why ODH is pissed with richard schaefer.
oscar knows the truth about floyd's real drawing power and realizes that his company stands to lose millions on expensive promotions and guarantees while only generating half of the required ppv buys to break even.
We're half way into floyd's contract, and so far its performed quite miserably. There are no more canelos out there to get the buys over 1 million. Dont be surprised if both sho and gbp are out of business in a few years' time.Comment

I always thought the promoter got paid from the TV network, sponsors, and venue...Then paid their fighters. Showtime has to be paying GBP/TMT a good amount of money for the rights to broadcast this PPV card.
