Actually, the majority here just wants the fighting between the promoters to stop so we get to see better matchups!

The fighting should happen within the ring!

No one's fault but Oscar's and his drug issues. Schaefer got tired of it, and started looking out for himself.

It's been clear to me for years that Schaefer was the main reason for the feud. He hates Arum and cusses him out in public every chance he gets. Why would Arum want to put up with that? He is too old and too good at what he does to take Schaefer's ****.

Something about his accent makes me think hes full of ****

And I still don't know what race he is. I know hes european but he looks mexican and has a german accent. Dude is like a James Bond villian
He is from Switzerland and they are Germans, Italians and French and I am assuming from his surname and accent that he is from the German speaking parts.

GBP got loaded under cards, so someone has to take the brunt. If it was Broner Molina alone and no Khan-Collazo then I am sure Maidana would've made over $3 mil, because Khan also got $1.5 and Collazo 350k.

Well Arum did kind of start it by calling him essentially a **** sympathizer, he used the term "swiss banker" not as a description but as refer to him as like the Swiss bankers of WWII that did major dealings with the ****'s because they had money no matter how soiled it was.

Starting off by calling someone like that is not how you get off on the good foot.

He is an asshole. Oscar only has himself to blame, as that is exactly what old Bob was hoping for.

I understand that people are whooping, whilst thinking this will spell the end of the cold war, but such elation is short-sighted. Ultimately Arum's mind is on money, so Oscar reaching out to him presents him with the opportunity of destabilising his most significant rival.

The real problem now for boxing fans is that most of these fighters are signed to Al Haymon and not GBP meaning Top Rank (and possibly HBO) won't do business with him.

Essentially, unless they can cut ties with Haymon, the situation remains the same.

Haymon has a deep roster but they're mostly B-sides. The most important piece of the puzzle is Canelo and he's loyal to Oscar.

I'd be interested to see how they function without Canelo. Look at ShowTime's TV schedule. They're ratings have been lukewarm this year. All of the big names are being thrown on Floyd and Canelo undercards.

Yep, Gaymon and his ****** entourage are the future blight of boxing.
