What makes people like Carl Froch?

Why I love the Cobra

-He's tough
-He comes to the ring ready for War
-He has a great resume
-He's got underrated Ring IQ
-He's got power
-He knows how to command the ring
-He takes no bull***** from opponents

Ultimately - I generally feel like a satisfied customer when watching the dude fight - he brings it, no questions asked

I used to dislike Froch, boarderline hated the guy, because before he'd ever done anything in the Ring he did a lot of talking. Was very arrogant although he'd done nothing in the sport. This was when he was fighting domestic level.

I also didn't rate him at all. Never thought he'd ever win a world title.

He kept constantly proving me wrong, predicted him to lose to Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Abraham, Bute and he proved me wrong every time.

He's a guy that will literally fight anybody. He has a huge heart, a warrior, great work ethic and achieved great things in the sport.

For those reasons, he's somehow managed to become one of my favourite active fighters.

Same - used to dislike the guy but he won me over as well with his toughness, grit, and willingness to fight anybody. Also feel like he's become a better boxer over time. I do think he clearly lost the fight vs. Dirrell though...

His style makes me overlook his personality. Also, he's not in the business of being a nice guy. If he performs in the ring, then he will have fans. I personally don't find his personality that bad. What's most important is that he performs in the ring and has had some memorable moments in boxing.

He's an absolute warrior who doesn't back down from any challenges. He's basically everything a casual and hardcore boxing fan could want in a fighter.

it's going to be a sad day when Froch retires from boxing.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Ali never said anything like Froch did about SRR or Joe Louis.

Then you have Froch showing little respect to Ali.

Always in an exciting fight, great resume, tough as nails, incredibly determined. Talks **** and is supremely confident. Always backs it up.

Idk if he did or not but he disrespected his opponents quite often. I'm not sure what Froch said about Ali but my point still stands. He was also ****y and thought he was the ****.

You named yourself after a fighter that was just like Froch or even worse. One of the few things they had in common tho, they both backed it up in the ring.

Now if it was someone like Devon Alexander or some scrub talking smack I'd understand where youre coming from but in this case its not. Froch isn't the cutest in the ring but he performs and backs it up.
