[QUOTE=fighter86;14555357]He should have chosen JMM gloves December 8 2012 and beside catch weight are a lot worst . You can wear snow shovel gloves and unless you have the stamina and strength you won't knock anything out.[/QUOTE

Maidana had his own gloves, the ones no cushioning. So is Floyd supposed to trust that that was the only pair of Maidana's gloves that weren't tampered with? Damn Haters

Don't you find it ironic that you and the f.uck boy crew around here are pretty much the only people on the planet that think that.

I'm not saying that Ward and Gatti are the same skill level as Tyson and Frazier, but the Ward vs. Gatti fights (when you're a spectator) make you feel that you're watching superior skill, just like Tyson and Frazier, because the fighters have a similar mentality. But when you watch Pernell Whitaker or Floyd, some overlook the skill because they don't appreciate that fighting style. Those kind of people will always score Maidaina as a winner, Castillo as the winner, Chavez Sr. (against Pernell), etc.

I remember when the whole OST drama was going on these muf.uckaz around here were saying Floyd should fight Pac roided up or not because he's naturally bigger. You think tampered up gloves concern them?

BTW, a lil history lesson for these dumbasses b1tchin' about gloves. Even though Roy Jones was technically the A-side when he and Ruiz fought. Ruiz objected to the gloves Roy originally wanted to wear. Which were simply Grants he had made to match the trunks he was wearing in the fight. I guess Ruiz was scared of Roy's power too.

The Gatti-Ward fights made me feel like I had wasted an hour of my life each time watching something I could have seen on any street corner or bar in America.

Really??? Seems like damn near every fighter, media member, trainer, and every other boxing person polled says Floyd won. Most say he clearly won. So where's this 90% yo b1tch ass is talking about?

Still found a way to win fight? But that's debateable, many think he lost. Not sure if Fans initially wanted Maidana as an opponent as well, especially a Maidana who couldn't use sanctioned gloves.

But he didn't really fight Maidanas fight. He threw less than half of Maidana, so did what he always does essientially.

But Mickey Ward vs. Arturo Gatti is big time boxing folklore. Pernell and Floyd won't be that because of their fighting styles (for some people, NOT ME). Look at Rigondeaux. Will he ever be as popular as Donaire? A lot of the hate for Floyd is his fighting style. He knows it, and is in the pocket a lot more the last 3 fights. I'm worried for the brother. Ali stopped moving, floating and stinging, and now he's not talking and walking right. Money needs to do what he does, and if he can't do it anymore....BOUNCE!

Honest to god truth is that I watched at the theater and I didn't even stick around to hear the decision read because I thought Maidana won 3-4 rounds tops. I thought it was the type fight that these ****** muf.uckaz on here would cry robbery about. But one that wouldn't have any controversy in the real boxing world. And that's pretty much how it is.

Disagree a bit on some of your points. Id say People consider Gatti Ward trilogy classic because of 2 warriors who respected each other going toe to toe not because both were especially gifted, People where amazed at the heart not the skill.

Think a Magority of people that hate Floyd would still hate Floyd if he had a different style, Agree that Mayweather doesnt have the same legs as when he started but He can adapt to any style and really hasnt taken the abuse that 99% of boxers have he's still physically and mentally strong, every indication would be he has many years left to perform at a elite level
