He probably does. Mayweather's shots are not meant to stop anyone. It's just to make his opponents hesitant to attack him. His fragile hands don't allow him to throw hard very often.

          Yes.....

Yes. Not only does Broner punch harder, he has killer instinct. Floyd does not. You can actually say that Floyd's performance versus Maidana, wasn't any better than Broner's. Broner had Maidana holding on for dear life at the end of the fight. Now that fight is rematch worthy, not Maidans versus Floyd. If Broner fights smart, he'll win the rematch.

My educated guess would be that Floyd hits harder than Broner but tends to avoid it because of chronic hand injuries.

Broner hit like a girl against Molina. I don't know if that was part of his whole routine (trying to hump him, winding up his punches, turning his back on him) but at points Broner was throwing punches that looked more like slaps and bounced harmlessly off of Molina's face despite landing flush.

I think Maidana hurt Floyd's body early in that fight which is why he looked like he was asleep for the first few rounds. Some of those so-called "harmless dirty arm punches" were on the liver and would put everyone in this thread on the ground writhing in agony. I wouldn't personally use Maidana in the Floyd vs Broner context. Those fights could not have been more different from each other.

Broner does hit harder. Frauds punches tickled Maidana whereas broners punches actually backed maidana up on occasion.

Hmm. Didn't Maidana himself said Broner could punch in the post fight interview? He said he felt his power. Maybe I am confusing it with a different interview.

Mayweather hurt Maidana... Guess people didn't understand why he was backing up and throwing the jab. It was to stop Mayweather's offense which had him worried... Listen to the body punches Floyd give Maidana and watch him drift off. When Mayweather each that tape and they give Maidana the rematch.. The hype train will be systematically taken apart then blown up when Maidana gets out boxed then KOed.

Maidana himself said that Broner's shots felt harder.

I think it appears that Broner has more raw power but he doesn't have half of Maywather's accuracy and precision. However, Mayweather doesn't commit to this shots as much due to hand problems which Broner does not have. Furthermore, I don't think Broner would be able to keep Canelo, Oscar and Cotto off him like d Floyd was able to.
