Your theory sucks, people that are drawn in for the undercard also want to watch the main event, otherwise they would switch it off. Floyd is the main draw there was not a stacked undercard vs Oscar. But when manny Fought Oscar they did hundred-thousands less in PPV buys.

No problem and remember this is my humble opinion,I am not a ******* or floydtard or poptart,its what I think..I think if you see pac,pac alone,he carries an event alone,heck,arum has said he is not interested on undercards,he has fought really even when big names,there is no other fights..on the other hand mayweather,fights on cinco de mayo,he fights a mexican or someone that pleases the mexican crowd style,he has a stacked undercard,so if you see really close,mayweather alone dont have as much a drawing power it seems to be,you remember guerrero,it did alright..once again,If you put a stacked undercard,just for the sake of argument a pac vs marquez,bradley vs provodnickov,mikey garcia vs whoever,chavez jr vs ggg,how you think it will fair..with 3 months non stop publicity..I think it will fair really good...now if you put a somewhats stacked undercard on pac maybe not all super stars it will do very good..this last time pac fought,nobody of my friends knew who they were,but on mayweather fight,maidena was associated with broner and khan,collazo just came out of a victory over a well known fighter(ortiz)mayweather put khan again on the map with all the poll nonsense..I think you get my point...If you put mayweather bradley or pacquiao vs maidana,no undercards,I am really sure pac will sell a lot more....

The is a diference..when oscar fought mayweather he was still that ticket selling machine,if you think it was mayweather I will disagree with you,anyways..one year later oscar fights forbes(unknown to any casual fan) and almost 2 years later than mayweather he fought pacquiao,when oscar was on the decline..And I know it doesnt matter and we can all agree oscar was a zombie on pac fight,but mayweather fight was very close whereas pac made him quit..anyways,I think your comparison fails a little bit here.
