I just found this out. How come Khan didnt get in more trouble for this? I guess you cant prove he died from Khan running him over but to me that is was it sounded like.

"to me that's what it sounded like" fortunately isn't enough for a conviction.

I have no idea about the laws in the UK. But manslaughter is when someone dies because of your carelessness.

The guy died from severe alcoholism, granted Khan knackered his leg but many people out there have incidents which are somewhat unlucky and misfortunate. Choosing the route of alcohol was his choice not Khans. Khan should have had a much more severe punishment for his part in this however this is England and the justice system here is a pile of w*nk literally.

I read severe depression too. Because of the lost income and becoming a cripple. I guess the depression drove him to drink.

I would not want that on my conscious.

I'm one of those people who still feels absolutely awful for the bad stuff they did as a kid. I wish I could have the chance to apologize now that I am an adult.

From what I remember, Khan was speeding and swerved to miss a queue of cars. He missed the cars but hurt a pedestrian while doing so, the pedestrian was the person who subsequently died a few years later as he suffered through depression after the injuries which led him to be unable to walk.

He took to alcohol and passed away. Speed were approximately 47mph.

Like I said it was horrendous and Khan should have been punished accordingly but thats the courts decision.

Our hopes and prayers go out to the Khan family in their time of trouble. Hopefully all can endure the healing process, especially Amir's jaw.

Was this person an out of control alcoholic before the accident?
