That is in no way relevant to Amir Khan or Brooks bottle. If you're interested in how Mayorga does everything better than Maidana and is just as awkward, make a thread.Comment

For once I hope Khan is wrong because Kell Brook fighting Porter will prove a lot about Brook and if he wins he'll have a belt and that fight will be epic, because the rivalry has been brewing for years.
Although, Khan facing and beating Porter will mean much more.Comment

The hype and atmosphere can rival that of Froch-Groves, because it has been building up for years.I think Khan wants Brook to fight Porter cuz if he beats him, it sets up a huge mega fight for Brook vs Khan for a title and some serious £££££
I remember in a interview Khan was asked if he wud consider fighting Brook if he beats Porter or gets a title and he said yesComment

Khan had plenty of time to fight and beat Alexander - which I believe he would have done - before the May date with Floyd. Ducking that fight was a big mistake by Khan, and almost certainly the reason Maidana ended up fighting Floyd instead of him.Live what down? Everyone in his right mind would have done the same.
Wlad was scheduled to fight Chisora in April 2011, but he pulled out with a fake injury when the possibility of a Haye fight emerged for the summer. Does that mean he ducked Chisora? Has he lived that down yet?
But I wasn't condemning him for it. Did you see the quotes I included with my comment? I was explaining why it was that those guys wrote that about Khan - because he ducked out of fighting Alexander. Get it?
And yes, Wlad did duck Chisora. And he only lived it down by going on to win bigger fights against better opponents, which Khan has yet to do..
The fact that Wlad and Khan both ducked fights because they wanted bigger fights, not because they were scared of anybody, is irrelevant.
If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it is a duck, whatever the motive.Last edited by kafkod; 05-13-2014, 07:59 PM.Comment

32 fights each and the combined records of their opponents:
Khan - Wins 754, Losses 163
Brook - Wins 639, Losses 919
Khan: 7 World Title Fights, Unified Champ, 5 Defenses of the WBA version, Kotelnik, Judah, Maidana, Malignaggi and Collazo
Brook: 0 World Title Fights and the most notable names are Senchenko and Jones.
"but, but, but Brook undefeated, so Khan must be ducking him doe."Last edited by Box-Office; 05-13-2014, 08:04 PM.Comment

It actually is very relevant. It's basically the entire definition of what a duck is.Originally posted by Kafkod
